The Easy Start™ Rougher makes rough turning bowl blanks quick and easy. Unlike traditional bowl gouges that can be difficult to control when shaping an out-of-round blank, the Easy Start™ Rougher is designed to direct cutting pressure downward into the lathe so your lathe "takes the beating" for you. There’s no need to sharpen, simply rotate the cutter to expose a fresh cutting edge as needed and replace when dull. Includes premium Ci2 square carbide cutter, mounting screw and wrench.
