The Powermatic Tailstock Swing Away simply bolts onto your lathe bed allowing you to store your tailstock conveniently out of the way without removing it from the lathe. Just loosen the locking handle and swing the tailstock down and away for storing. When you need the tailstock, simply swing it up and into position, lock it in place and you’re ready to go! And thanks to the sturdy built-in spring assist, you feel only a fraction of the weight of the tailstock during operation making it even easier to do!
